The five-day celebration of devotion, togetherness and divine joy at Vidya Pratishthan’s Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School came to a beautiful close on 19th September 2026 with Ganesh Visarjan — a farewell filled with reverence, splendour and heartfelt emotion.
The morning began with a serene Aarti in the School Auditorium, followed by a special Aarti at 10:40 a.m., where students of Classes VIII–XII and the entire staff gathered together in devotion. 🪔
With prayers in everyone’s hearts, the sacred idol of Lord Ganesha was brought down to the school garden, where the school ground had been beautifully prepared for the Visarjan rituals. Students and staff came together for the final Aarti and rituals, bidding farewell to Bappa with love, gratitude and a promise to carry His blessings forward.
As the echoes of “Ganpati Bappa Morya!” filled the air, there was joy in every smile. The prasad that followed marked the sweet conclusion to five unforgettable days of celebration.
These five days taught us more than how to pray — they reminded us how to learn from Ganesha – to seek wisdom, embrace humility, overcome obstacles and move forward with faith. 🌿🐘
