Vidya Pratishthan’s Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School Hosts Inter-School ‘Cyber Spark’ Competition

BARAMATI: Vidya Pratishthan’s Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School (CBSE), Baramati, successfully organised the Inter-School Cyber Spark Computer Competition on June 22, 2026. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from nine schools and over 40 students, providing a dynamic platform for budding technology enthusiasts to showcase their skills and creativity.
The competition aimed to encouraged students to demonstrate their technical abilities, solve real-world challenges, and engage with peers from different schools in a collaborative learning environment.
Students competed in three categories — Scratch Programming, HTML Web Designing, and PowerPoint Presentation. The competition was judged by an esteemed panel comprising Dr. Kranti Sapkal, Professor at VP’s Arts, Science and Commerce College, Baramati, and Dr. Arvind Jagtap, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at VPKBIET, Baramati.

The results of the competition were as follows:
In the Scratch Programming competition, based on the theme “Save Earth, Environmental Story,” the first prize was won by VP’s Vinodkumar Gujar Bal Vikas Mandir, Baramati. The second prize was jointly awarded to VP’s Anantrao Pawar English Medium School and VP’s English Medium School (CBSE), Baramati, while the third prize was secured by VP’s New Bal Vikas Mandir.
In the PowerPoint Presentation competition on the theme “Digital Literacy and Media Awareness in the 21st Century,” the first prize was jointly awarded to VP’s Indapur English Medium School and VP’s Supe English Medium School. The second prize was jointly secured by VP’s New Bal Vikas Mandir and VP’s Vinodkumar Gujar Bal Vikas Mandir, while the third prize went to VP’s Bhor English Medium School.
In the HTML Web Designing competition on the theme “Healthy Lifestyle Guide in the Cyber World,” the first prize was awarded to Vidya Pratishthan’s Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School (CBSE), Baramati. The second prize was secured by VP’s Indapur English Medium School, while VP’s Bhor English Medium School claimed the third prize.
Based on their consistent performance across events, students of Vidya Pratishthan’s Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School (CBSE), Baramati, emerged as the overall champions and were awarded the prestigious Rolling Trophy.
The school expressed its gratitude to the Vidya Pratishthan Management and Committee, along with the Principal, teaching and non-teaching staff, for their support and contribution to the successful conduct of the competition.
