🪔 Diwali Celebrations – A Festival of Light, Creativity & Heritage! ✨
Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School (CBSE) celebrated Diwali with great enthusiasm, beginning at 10:30 a.m. with the Principal garlanding the statue of Goddess Saraswati, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting.
The winners of the MasterStroke All India Drawing Competition were felicitated, and the results of the Inter-House Fort Making Competition were announced, with Takshashila House emerging victorious!
The four houses showcased their creativity through forts built entirely by students over a week. Rooted in Maharashtra’s tradition of honouring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his legacy of Swarajya, fort making nurtures historical awareness, teamwork, courage and pride in our heritage.
The celebration filled the campus with festive cheer and joyful smiles.
Wishing everyone a Happy Diwali and a wonderful holiday! May the festival bring light, happiness and prosperity to all! 🪔
