Introduction
As a part of the academic curriculum and industry exposure program, students of VPDCPS visited the Baramati Textile Industry. The objective of the visit was to understand the industrial processes, working conditions, ergonomics involved in textile manufacturing, and occupational health challenges faced by workers.
Objectives of the Visit
→ To observe textile production processes such as spinning, weaving, dyeing, and finishing.
→ To understand workplace ergonomics and physical demands on workers.
→ To assess potential occupational health risks.
→ To explore the role of physiotherapy in industrial health and safety.
→ To bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.
