Baramati, June 21, 2025 — Vidya Pratishthan’s Dr. Cyrus Poonawalla School, Baramati, celebrated World Music Day with great enthusiasm, turning the campus into a vibrant stage of musical harmony and youthful talent.
The celebration began with a traditional Saraswati Pujan, invoking blessings for wisdom and artistic inspiration. This was followed by a lively program introduction that set the tone for the day’s festivities.
An impressive array of performances showcased the students’ musical skills. Class 8 students presented a captivating instrumental ensemble featuring synthesizer, guitar, and violin, leaving the audience spellbound. Another highlight was a melodious saxophone instrumental performance of the popular tune “Ke Sara…” by Class 8 girls.
Adding a devotional touch, Class 7 girls performed a soulful Abhang Gayan program with harmonium and vocals, filling the atmosphere with spiritual fervor. The celebration concluded with a stirring saxophone duet of the patriotic song “Sare Jahan Se Achha” by students from Classes 7 and 8, evoking a sense of national pride.
On this occasion, the Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and applauded their confidence and musical talent. She encouraged them to continue exploring the world of music, highlighting how such platforms nurture creativity, discipline, and teamwork.
